Is TidyRow free?
Yes. Files up to 100 rows clean and download for free. For bigger files, unlock one file for $7 or get unlimited files for 30 days for $15. Both are one-time payments — no subscription and no account.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. Your CSV is read and cleaned inside your own browser. It is never sent to our servers or stored in a database. If you pay, only an anonymous fingerprint of the file goes to Stripe so the payment unlocks the right file.
How do I split a full name column into first name and last name?
Drop your CSV into TidyRow. Any column like "Name", "Full Name" or "Customer Name" is automatically split into "First Name" and "Last Name" in proper Title Case, so " sarah TAN " becomes Sarah and Tan.
How are phone numbers formatted?
TidyRow recognises phone numbers from every country and converts them to clean international format with the right country code, such as +65 9123 4567, +44 20 7946 0958 or +1 415 555 0132. Numbers typed without a country code are read as your default country, which is set automatically and can be changed.
How does duplicate removal work?
TidyRow keeps the first row for each email address, ignoring capitals and spaces. Rows without an email are matched by phone number, and rows with neither are only removed if every cell is identical.
Can it format my file for HubSpot, Mailchimp or Klaviyo?
Yes. Choose your CRM under “Where is this file going?” and TidyRow renames the name, email and phone columns to exactly what that importer expects. You can also hide columns you don’t need and rename any column yourself.
Does TidyRow work offline?
Yes. Once the page has loaded, all cleaning happens on your device, so you can switch off your Wi-Fi and it still works. That’s the easiest way to check that your file is never uploaded. You only need a connection to pay.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. Use the sample file, clean any file up to 100 rows for free, or download the first 100 rows of a bigger file free to test your import.
Which files does it work with?
Any CSV or Excel (.xlsx) file, including customer and order exports from Shopify, HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp, WooCommerce and Google Sheets. Columns TidyRow does not recognise are kept exactly as they were, only trimmed of stray spaces.
Will the cleaned file import back into my CRM?
Yes. The download is a standard UTF-8 CSV, ready to import into HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Google Contacts or Shopify. If you’ll open it in Excel instead, turn on “I’ll open the file in Excel” under More options.
